Oregon Concerns of Police Survivors (Oregon C.O.P.S.)
Chapter established in 1993 that provides support for families and co-workers of peace officers whose deaths are directly related to their sworn duties. Board members are trained to provide survivor peer support and grief counseling and to assist with line-of-duty-death funeral planning, Public Safety Officers' Benefits (PSOB) claims, and national and state memorial enrollment. Services including financial support, scholarships, retreats, and the Annual National Conference are free of charge to survivors.
