Program of the Arizona Housing Coalition holding annual StandDown resource events across the state (18 events in 2025, 2026 schedule posted) where veterans and families experiencing housing instability and homelessness receive housing assistance, veterans' benefits support, employment opportunities, medical/vision and mental-health help, hot meals, clothing and move-in kits in one place — the Maricopa County StandDown is billed as the nation's largest of its kind.

Congressionally chartered 501(c)(3) (est. 1946) serving veterans who are blind or have low vision; its Veterans Service Program uses VA-accredited National Service Officers for free claims help nationwide, plus VetTech and education support, scholarships, ambassador peer visits and regional groups. In 2026 BVA partnered with Meta to deliver Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses to 130,000 blinded veterans.
