Hoʻōla Farms (Hoʻōla Veteran Services)
A Hilo-based 501(c)(3) whose mission is to serve military veterans and first responders, their families and caregivers, and the community by providing opportunities to heal, connect, learn, grow, and thrive. It runs hands-on agriculture programs including free Victory Gardens for Veterans workshops, beginner-farmer Intro to Grow workshops, and Groundwork to Grow agribusiness training with veteran/first-responder scholarships.

- Most Intro to Grow workshops are free, with some specialty workshops carrying a small registration fee; Groundwork to Grow 4-week courses range from $99-$350 depending on course and equipment, with scholarships available for veterans, veteran family members, veteran caregivers, or first responders; Victory Gardens for Veterans is free (own site)
